INTRODUCTION
This course gives an introduction to sea lice, the importance of control systems and management of them, describe the biology of wrasse, methods for rearing wrasse and for deployment, a review of the biology of lumpfish, rearing protocols for lumpfish and deployment methods, cleaner fish application in a number of countries, future expansion to other fish species, an examination of research requirements, and the economics of sea lice control and management systems.

COURSE CONTENT
This tutor guided course comprises the 12 modules listed below, alongside a number of recommended activities/readings. The course starts with a brief introductory webinar with the tutor, Jim Treasurer, at 2 pm on Wednesday 27th October. You are then able to take the course at your own pace over the next 3 – 6 weeks. There will be an online session, arranged at a time to suit, to allow participants to interact with the tutor and ask any questions. There will also be a wrap-up tutorial for those who wish to attend. The webinars/tutorials will be recored and posted to the course for those unable to make the live sessions. The course will also have a disucssion forum where questions can be asked and discussed.
